Trasie Sands has been working on the Information Superhighway for over 10 years and has transitioned her skills to reflect the constant changes that the industry presents. She has worked as Project Coordinator for a graphic design firm which boasted several 'A List' clients and freelanced for a number of firms. As a freelancer, Trasie has created several sites for small to medium businesses and her clientele includes a variety of industries such as Retail, Hospitatlity and digital delivery ecommerce businesses.
Currently, Trasie works for a web hosting company with almost 10,000 clients and growing. She assists in technical support and heads up the domains department.
Trasie's skills include web design and development, photography, graphic design, hosting, domains and instruction in all aspects of computer use, both with a PC and with a Mac.
Keeping up with the technology is practically a full-time job and a definite passion. Trasie is constantly seeking new ways to do things and, in the process, has become very skilled with online research.
Trasie studied at Toronto Image Works in Toronto, Ontario, earning her diploma in New Media Web Design and Development.
